The Board of Election Commissioners for the City of St. Louis has completed its review of eight provisional ballots that were cast for Alderman in Ward 9 in the March 7 Primary Municipal Election.

Of the eight provisional ballots, one was not counted because the voter’s signature on the envelope did not match the signature in the Election Board’s database. Of the remaining seven provisional ballots, four contained votes for Tina Pihl and three contained votes for both Tina Pihl and Michael Browning. There was also one absentee ballot in Ward 9 that was not included in the Final Unofficial Results released on March 7 that contained a vote for Tina Pihl. Michael Gras did not receive any additional votes.

The result is that Tina Pihl’s correct vote total is 876, Michael Gras’ correct vote total remains at 868, and Tina Pihl’s name will appear on the April 4 General Municipal Election ballot.
