City of St. Louis Government – St. Louis City Water Division Issues Precautionary Boil Advisory for Parts of the Downtown, North, and South City

0Comments

The City Water Division has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for portions of our service area due to low water pressure caused by a broken water main. While the Water Division has not detected contamination to the water supply, it has issued the boil water advisory out of an abundance of caution.

The neighborhoods under the precautionary boil water advisory are:

• St. Louis Place, Old North St. Louis, Carr Square and Columbus Square

• Downtown and Downtown West

• Peabody-Darst-Webbe, LaSalle Park, Soulard and Kosciusko

The advisory is in effect until further notice; test results will available within 24 hours.
