Kennard Davis Jr., a former Vashon High School star who now plays for the BYU Cougars, will take the court in the NCAA Tournament.

BYU earned the No. 6 seed and will match up against the Texas Longhorns, who come in as the 11th seed.

Their opening contest is scheduled for Thursday, March 19, at 5:25 p.m. at Moda Center.
