City of St. Louis Department of Health - COVID-19 Data Snapshot

This week’s #Covid19 data snapshot shows that our Transmission Level is High and Community Level is Medium per the CDC guidelines.

New cases: 50.7 per 100K residents

Hospitalizations: 12.3 per 100K residents

In staffed hospital beds: 4.7%

The CDC and U.S. Food and Drug Administration have authorized Covid-19 bivalent boosters for children ages 5-11.  Why is this great news? As we head into winter when the risk of getting sick is higher for children, the bivalent boosters will provide increased protection against severe illness.

Many community healthcare providers such as Affinia Healthcare, BJC HealthCare and Care STL Health offer pediatric vaccines. Please contact them for more information or to schedule an appointment.
