Appointment of Donna Hosey as Ellington Town Clerk

Donna is a highly qualified municipal professional who has served in the Ellington Town Clerk’s Office since March of 2014.  

Donna began as an Administrative Clerk and quickly proved herself to be a valuable asset to the Town; she was promoted to Assistant Town Clerk in 2016 and completed her Connecticut Town Clerk Certification in 2017.

The Town of Ellington is very pleased and fortunate that Donna will be leading the Town Clerk’s Office with her background, knowledge and familiarity with the Ellington community. “I’m looking forward to seeing Donna excel within this new role,” First Selectman Lori Spielman said. “She has a great relationship with her customers, and I am confident that she will continue to serve our residents and patrons with the utmost professionalism and courtesy.”

“I’m very excited to take on this new position,” Donna shared. “I look forward to continuing the work of collecting and preserving the records of this great Town, and feel fortunate to have the opportunity to further build my relationships with all of the wonderful customers that come through our doors.”
