On Sunday, February 12, Governor Mike Parson and First Lady Teresa Parson will cheer on Missouri's Kansas City Chiefs as they face off against the Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona.

Sunday's game will mark the Chiefs' third Super Bowl appearance since 2020, when the team brought home the championship title and Lombardi trophy for the first time in 50 years. On Sunday, January 29, the Chiefs took on the Cincinnati Bengals in their 5th straight AFC Championship appearance, emerging victorious and punching their ticket to Super Bowl LVII.

"As lifelong Chiefs fans and as the 57th Governor and First Lady of Missouri, Teresa and I could not be more excited to cheer on the Chiefs at Super Bowl 57," Governor Parson said. "The team has worked hard on and off the field, inspiring millions of fans across Chiefs Kingdom, and we can't wait to see them bring home another championship title. They've made us proud again and again but hear me when I tell you, our Kansas City Chiefs ARE NOT DONE YET! Let's go Chiefs!"

Governor Parson and First Lady Teresa Parson plan to meet with Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro prior to Sunday's game to formally place a friendly wager. However, details on the wager will be announced through Governor Parson's social media platforms early next week. To further represent the Show-Me State, Governor Parson will also gift a basket of Buy Missouri items to Governor Shapiro.

Governor Parson and First Lady Parson have purchased their own Super Bowl tickets. Aside from their standard security detail, there will be no cost to state taxpayers.
